Before go-home

Raised as part of our lives.

I want our puppies to begin learning about people, sounds, animals, and the world beyond their sleeping area.

Time with family.

Our family is involved with the puppies as they grow. Gentle interaction and ordinary household activity help introduce them to the people and sounds that will be part of life in a home.

A world to explore.

As they develop, we introduce outdoor time, farm sounds, and new experiences appropriate to their age. I pay attention to curiosity, confidence, and how each puppy responds.

Getting to know the individual.

I pay attention to how each puppy explores, plays, approaches something new, and connects with people. Energy, confidence, drive, and personality all matter. Around six weeks, I talk through what I am seeing to help you choose a puppy whose temperament fits your home.

A foundation you continue.

Learning continues after go-home. Your routine, training, supervision, and time together help shape the dog your puppy becomes. We stay available for questions as that relationship grows.

A relationship begins with time together.

That idea fits the way I want our puppies to begin life: familiar with people, included in everyday experiences, and learning through regular attention. I want the bond you build with your puppy to keep growing after you leave our farm.

Ask me about the puppies you’re considering.

I’m happy to talk about their daily routine and the personalities I’m getting to know.
