A high-drive female and a family love bug, with plenty of affection and very clear opinions about her boundaries.
Meet Minerva.
Minerva is one of those dogs whose strength and sweetness are both easy to see once you know her. She has high drive and a protective nature, and she is deeply affectionate with people she welcomes into her world. We have often called her our love bug.
The gentle attention she has given children is something we value about her. So is her devotion as a mother. She can be loving and sensitive while still being very clear with another dog when she has had enough play. Minerva has never needed much help making her boundaries understood.
She has been part of everyday farm life and family swims, and she brings a strong personality to both work and home. Knowing that whole dog matters to me when I think about what she contributes to our program.
